change is inevitable

Question how does a girl who falls, no actually jumps eyes wide open, down a rabbit hole, plummeting into chaos come out unchanged?

I we all change as we get older. We yearn for yester-year. Each year it continues to pain us as we grow older, our skin loses it’s elasticity, gaining weight is a perpetual battle with our thighs & tummy. We move out, we move on. A clean break is easier. You can reset it, and it heals, and you move on, but if you leave things messy, and things don’t get put right, then it just hurts, forever.

We continue to grow, things change, times change. We have children. But who are we? We essentially are the same person we were, even if nothing is the same. It’s awesome. It sucks. It’s real.

Question how does a girl who falls, no actually jumps eyes wide open, down a rabbit hole, plummeting into chaos come out unchanged?

She doesn’t

Nov 5 2009

remember, remember

The 5th of november, The Gunpowder Treason and Plot, I know of no reason, Why the Gunpowder Treason, Should ever be forgot.

Photo 13Its november the 5th! Happy Guy Fawkes Day! Today is the 404th anniversary of the foiling of a plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament and kill King James I of England. Even darling little Xander told me about the grumpy ole’ king James of England as we picked him up from school today (I am at times amazed what this little man knows! Can’t wait for his third birthday next week!)

Hope you have a great one, and please, don’t try to blow up parliament (or congress).

i wish my midterm could be on grey’s anatomy instead of organic biology.

ok, so I totally jacked that post name from a fellow friend. sometimes I totally hate fbook because it always “reloads” WHILE I am typing a kick-arse snotty head comment on a fellow friends page. suck.

here is how it all went down:
Christi Frost: wishes her midterm could be on Grey’s Anatomy rather than on GCB…

ugh… i seriously just had this *totally awesome* smart-arse comment typed, and hit the little blasted “comment” button and POUFF, its gone! laaaaaame. so , here it goes, to the best of my snotty recollection.

“i totally agree! i have a huge arse o-bio exam tuesday, and i would love to totally rather catch up on the latest episode rather than, say, rip my head open and cram, literally, cram EIGHT chapters of biology into the little space that is my head. no bueno. maybe i’ll go to the ed and pray that I have as awesomely hot dr McDreamy to wisk me away to some “emergency surgery” so I can get a dr’s note as to why I can’t take my exam on tuesday…. oh well. sweet dreams. pray this crap will osmosize into my squeably head over night…”

Prior to the landslide win in the electoral college, at apporximately 9 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, with two time zones’ polls still open; Senator John McCain anncounced his concession from the race for president.

About 20 minutes ago, Senator Barack Obama took the stage with his Wife, and two lovely daughters to address the nation, and accept the position as the president elect.

It is now 10:30 p.m. and the precincts are slowely reporting their tallys, at this time the electoral college is at a landslide 338 to 156 for Obama to be the next president…

As well, the Democrats have obtained at least nine more seats in the house and senate and are currently in control of both. This indeed has been a history making day, as we will usher in a new era with 2009; and inaugurate the first African-American President of the United States.
